Well that is it for another year – the festive season is over; time for decorations to go back in the loft, back to work for everyone and the Christmas songs won’t be heard any more (well, not at least until after Bonfire Night anyway!).
Christmas is always a busy time and this year was no different – December always flashes by in a whirl of Pantomime shows, Christmas parties and Corporate events. We were very lucky to party with some very special children and their grown-ups and of course Father Christmas himself. All of these events run alongside our regular bookings for Birthday’s, Christenings and Weddings and make for an extremely busy December.
Christmas is such a magical time for Children (and Adult’s) and this time of year our Christmas Elf gets to visit School’s and Nurseries to spread a little Christmas cheer. Our Elf takes the children on an adventure to rediscover Father Christmas’ lost treasure – through a range of games, story-telling and magic the children have to help the Elf find the treasure and save the magic of Christmas. This show is perfect for Nurseries, pre-schools and schools with a 1 and 2 hour package available – it is a fantastic way to round off your Christmas term.
We also toured our annual Christmas Pantomime to schools, which was received extremely well. We adapted a traditional pantomime to suit the needs of children with a range of special and additional needs – this year we performed “Robin Hood” and took it SEN schools across London, Surrey and Hampshire. We also toured a Neurotypical version of the show to schools across the counties as well. This year, for the first time we took our show to a Theatre where we performed both versions for families. It was a massive success and we look forward to producing 2019’s show – stay tuned to find out what the show will be and where you can come and see us.
December is also the perfect time for companies to thank their staff for all the hard work with a family Christmas party. These work extremely well by giving the entire family a chance to enjoy the party together and it is also very exciting for the children to see where Mum or Dad work. We were very lucky this year and got to perform for some amazing corporate clients which include: Johnson and Johnson, Ernst and Young and a whole host of others.
Christmas 2018 was a lot of fun and we partied with loads of amazing families at such a special and magical time of the year – we are now looking forward to making plans for Christmas 2019 (after a short break for recovery that is!). To all that partied with us over the Festive Season – thank you very much, we had a brilliant time and we hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
